Charlie and Silvia are amazing. We came from CO and got stuck in a snow storm so we're a little late (a lot late) for check-in on Friday evening. Charlie called and texted us to make sure we were okay, you don’t get that at the Holiday Inn. Their place was gorgeous and super comfortable with everything you needed. We had an awesome time with family and had awesome views of the Superstition Mountains. Charlie was super communicative and has little home automation touches that really make everything convenient. Thanks, dudes, y’all are awesome, and thank you for letting us stay in your home. - Stephen, Bridget, Ronin, Kanani, and Chevy

5 STARS EVERYTHING! This property will make you feel more at home than in your own home. The cleanliness was impeccable, the house was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need, and the property/land itself is just incredible. You can sit on the porch all morning and watch the rabbits and quail and desert birds. It was truly magical. The sunrise over the mountain view was a warm welcome every morning. We truly didn't want to leave. Charlie was so personable and extremely easy to communicate with- by far the best Airbnb experience we've ever had, and he welcomed our two dogs as well which we are so thankful for. This house is a close and easy drive to Phoenix and the airport as well. One more thing that stood out to me was how Charlie took all steps necessary to make us feel welcomed upon arrival- he knew we were getting in late at night and when we got to the house, every light was on, the air was turned down, and the driveway path was well lit. It truly made us so thankful after a long ten-hour drive and arriving in the house in the dark. He even allowed us to park our small camper in the driveway with no issues. This was such an easy and relaxing experience.

Bring Your Horse! We have a side-by-side for rent!

Apache Junction, Arizona, United States

Our Ranchito is located in an equestrian area of Apache Junction just a few miles from the Lost Dutchman State Park and Superstition Mountain trailhead.

You will see folks riding their horses past the property each day or see and hear horses on the surrounding ranches.

It's minutes from dirt bike riding, side-by-side excursions, hiking, biking, boating, kayaking, fishing, camping, shooting and trail blazing, in the magnificently stupendous Superstition Mountains and Tonto National Forest.

Minutes from several trailheads, 3 lakes, a ghost town, US 60 and Loop 202 freeways. 30 minutes from Phoenix Skyharbor and Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airports. Download the AllTrails app for information on all the amazing hiking in the area.

The property is NOT fenced and at rare times you may see wild animals around the property such as coyotes, javelinas, owls, lizards, scorpions, spiders, hawks and bobcats. Renters agree to exercise due diligence and be on the lookout for wild animals when using the property.

Getting around

You need a horse or car around here. There are state land trails across the street. You can take an easy, relaxing walk/hike of about two miles through the desert preserve, down to the grocery store or to get a bite to eat. Apache Junction does not have bus service so you will need a car, bike or Uber.

I checked the EV Charg-ER box on our profile. We have EV charg-ING, not a fancy charger station, thingy. There is an outdoor electrical outlet right next to the front door where you park so feel free to plug in there. That is what we use to do with our hybrid vehicle.
